The pilots
The cockpit crew is composed of from two to four pilots – including one Flight Captain – depending on the length of the flight and the aircraft type.
The Flight Captain is the person chiefly responsible for the safety and satisfaction of his passengers.
The flight attendants
The Flight Captain has responsibility for the flight attendants on board. In addition to their commercial role, they also bear the heavy responsibility of ensuring safety in the cabin, under the supervision of a purser or a chief purser assisted by one or several pursers, on wide-body aircraft.
