Air France and KLM offer a double network structured around their respective Paris-Charles de Gaulle and Amsterdam-Schiphol hubs.  Each carrier has a preponderant presence in a specific part of the world.  Air France, for example, is more firmly established than KLM in southern Europe, and KLM offers more extensive service to East Africa while Air France is more present in West Africa.

Air France and KLM facilitate access to their two networks via:

- the hubway that connects the Air France network to KLM’s, with 12 regular daily flights between Paris and Amsterdam;

- combinable fares, that enable passengers flying to destinations served by both airlines to combine one leg operated by KLM via Amsterdam with one operated by Air France via Paris.

- Flying Blue, the joint frequent flyer plan of Air France and KLM, now the N° 1 European programme, with 20 million members.
